MAASAI AGRICULTURE AND LAND USE CHANGE Maasai people are often viewed as a nomadic tribe who follows their herds to better grazing lands and water. This is not the case. Seasonal cattle herd migration is usually done by the young warriors, while the rest of the family and small livestock remain at the main homestead.
